Have you ever been on top of the world and one look from someone has put you on the bottom? The 7th cranial nerve emerges from the pons (a part of the brainstem) and controls our facial expression thus a person’s facial expression then reflects the energetic state of their body. In other words, the facial expression is a reflection of what moves through the pons from the body. Neural science has mapped the brain, come up with treatments and medication, yet to date, humans remain in neural suffering: depression, anxiety, self-worth, O.C.D., just to list a few.
